North Lambton Secondary Graduation

Yesterday, October 6th, I graduated from my dear high school of 4 years, North Lambton Secondary School. My parents, sister & brother-in-law were all there. It was also special to see so many school friends, who are back from university & college (Windsor, Western, Laurier, Lambton etc.)
It was pretty wierd to be walking down my old NLSS hallways, and definitely bittersweet to realize that now, when I poke my head inside the Music Room door, I will simply be one of those random, awkward visitors who oooh & ahhh over how much they miss the music program in their grown-up lives. One of my faviurite moments of the night, was seeing Laura Gordon for the first time in a month, exclaiming her name & running at her to give her a hug. It was also so special to see a few principals & teachers - especially Mr. Perry, who inspired me to think critically, and trained me to study well independently. As he once told my Engish Class, it is his goal to make university professors say, "WHO TAUGHT YOU ENGLISH!" It's also pretty fun throwing your cap once you've graduated! Altogether, it was a beautiful night. Thank you to my family & friends who made it so special!
